Masons give as generously as each individual can afford. This is our own money – we do not collect from the public.
Over the years, Mitre Lodge members have contributed generously to both Masonic charities and Non-Masonic Charities.
Donations between 2016 and 2018 have been made to the Masonic Samaritan Fund, which was the subject of a five-year Festival in the Province of Yorkshire North and East Ridings.
Mitre Lodge’s Almoner’s Fund is maintained by activities and provides vouchers for Lodge widows at Christmas and also covers any costs incurred when they are invited as guests to our social functions.
